Array of Toshiba Multifunction Products Meet Mopria’s Rigorous Mobile Print Standard
Toshiba recently announced that 28 Toshiba e-STUDIO multifunction printers (MFPs) have attained certification by the MopriaTM Alliance for meeting its mobile printing standards for the AndroidTM operating system.
The Mopria Alliance, which Toshiba joined in September 2014, is a nonprofit membership organization that promotes wireless printing from smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices. The organisation’s aim is to bring together the mobile, software and print industries with the goal of aligning to a standard that ensures universal printing compatibility from any mobile device to any printer anywhere.
“We are very pleased that our e-STUDIO products have secured the definitive certification in mobile printing,” said Andrew Upton, Toshiba Australia’s EID Marketing Communications Manager.
